Combat Mechanics (Auto-battler)

For The Kingdom uses an auto-battler system for both PvE and PvP. The game records your character's onchain stats, their equipment, combat skills and then pits that against your opponent's to see who comes out on top.
Combat lasts 5 rounds in total - each round consists of an attack from your character, and an attack from your opponent. Combat ends in a win/lose scenario if a combatant's HP drops to 0, or ends in a draw after 5 rounds if both combatants are still standing.
Whoever has higher agility initiates the first attack.
The damage you deal each round depends on your Attack attribute, your weapon skill for that round, and your weapon's color. Damage is then reduced by the defender's Defense attribute.
In For The Kingdom, weapons are classified into 4 colors: Red - Green - Blue - Grey:
Red weapons deal 15% more damage to opponents wielding Green weapons, and take 15% less damage from Green weapons.
Green weapons deal 15% more damage to opponents wielding Blue weapons, and take 15% less damage from Blue weapons.
Blue weapons deal 15% more damage to opponents wielding Red weapons, and take 15% less damage from Red weapons.
Grey weapons are not affected by this, so they deal and receive 100% of the damage from any type of weapon.
Before going into battle, it is advised that you customize your battle tactics to have the best chance at winning against your opponent (whether it's a PvE monster, or another player character).
Go to your character's profile to see your current stats (HP, Attack, Defense, Agility). Equip the necessary pieces of equipment to see how your stats change.
In the Skill section of your profile, you'll see 4 attacks representing your 4 turns. You can equip Weapon Skills in those slots to perform a special ability, which either deals more damage, stuns your enemy, or buffs your character. Visit the Weapon Skills subpage for a more detailed explanation.
