Each character starts at Level 1 (XP=0) with a base Hit Points of 100, a base Fame of 1000, and their Attack, Defense and Agility based on how players customize their character.
There are 6 main attributes that you should take a closer look at:
Hit Points (HP) - represent your Health. If this reaches 0, your character dies and will respawn at your Kingdom's capital or the last outpost you visited. Can be increased by leveling up.
Attack (ATK) - represents your attacking power. You deal more damage the more ATK you have. Can be increased by leveling up.
Defense (DEF) - represents your defense capabilities. The more DEF you have, the less damage you take from enemies. Can be increased by leveling up.
Agility (AGI) - represents your combat speed and reaction. Having more AGI than your opponent means you get to hit them first, drawing first blood as they say. Having A LOT more AGI than your opponent grants you a free attack on them even before the 4 turns of combat begin. Can be increased by leveling up.
Fame - Right now fame is just an additional stat on your character profile. Your fame increases the more , and decreases if you try to kill someone . But in the future, fame can unlock different playstyle and content, including specific questlines, various NPCs, the game world's reactions to your character, etc.
Movement Speed (MS) - represents how fast you can move across the map. The more MS you have, the less time it'll take for you to move from tile to tile. The default value for MS is 1 and you cannot increase it by conventional means (leveling up, etc.)
